Example: He can't speak anymore. He got a lot of cognitive disorders like Alzheimer.

Example: He is capromaniac. He always have his hands in the toilet when he's going to poop.

Adj.
A person who is losing control of themselves. A person who's decompressing can be agitated or agressive.
Example: This person just hit. I think he is in decompression.

Noun
Mental disturbance that results in confused thinking and reduced awareness of the environment.
Example: This person seem agitated and have a slurred speech without having sense. I think she's having a delirium

Noun
Swallowing difficulties.
Example: We need to watch Sylviano when he's eating. He have dysphagia so he is coughing permanantly when he's eating.

Noun
Person who care about the assistive technology used by people who's having motility problems.
Example: Luke can't hold a fork in his hand. When the ergo therapist came to visit him, she prescribed a special fork for him. This fork has a Velcro strap to strap it around his hand.

Gait belt
Noun
Assistive device which can be used to help safely transfer a person from a bed to a wheelchair, assist with sitting and standing, and help with walking around.
Example: To help Mr. Harrelson walking, we will use the gait belt to assure him when he's walking

Being unable to do something.
Example: I can't get to the bank due to my incapacities.

Noun
Team made by many specialists. Social worker, ergo therapist, physiotherapist, pharmacist, doctors, etc.
Example: We had a meeting with the interdisciplinary team to make the point about what is next with Mr Colombo.

Noun
The action of becoming intentionally involved in a difficult situation, in order to improve it or prevent it from getting worse.
Example: Lucas had a very bad behaviour last night. Today, I made an intervention to established clear rules to maintain peace in the room.

Noun
Tool used by professional where they add objectives to be achieved by a person using different method.
Example: The social worker made an intervention plan for Gabrielle. She needs to be able to write her name when using a pen with three fingers.

Example: This report is objective. It contains no quality, no judgment, and it describes all the facts.

A person who make a evaluation of motility capacities and treatments for a patient.
Example: Sarah is hemi neglected. This means that the half of her body can't move. The physiotherapist got to see her every day to make stretching. This way, the blood can circulate in the body without having issues.

Uses of symbol to communicate. Used with person who cannot speak or understand. Also, used as reminder for a routine.

Example: Can you make the planning for the activities this week-end?

Noun
Authority or permission given to a person to act for someone else.
Example: I got a proxy for my mother. this way, I can make a withdrawal at the bank for her because she can't get to it.

Noun
Person in government who's administrating money for people who can't administrate their own money because they are having mental problems.
Example: I send this report to the public curatorship to buy a TV for this resident. He would love to watch the TV.
